On Wednesday two of our senior 360 consultants Katie and Richard visited the first ever Women in Business Expo run by one of our clients, Hub Exhibitions.
The event was held in Farnborough international conference and exhibition centre and hosted 156 exhibitors along with a series of speakers from various industry backgrounds. Katie and Richard attended a series of thought-provoking seminars throughout the day given by speakers like Caprice Bourret, Sonya Barlow, Penny Power, Lee Andrews, Baroness Karren Brady CBE and Suzy Walker.
The seminars covered a range of topics to inspire women in business and discussed topics like ‘Getting Ahead- Play to your strengths, support each other and own it!’ (by Caprice Bourret) and ‘How to create the career you want’ (by Suzy Walker).
When not attending seminars, during the day Katie and Richard were able to browse a number of exhibitor stalls hosted by a diverse array of businesses.
It was amazing to hear from business leaders, female entrepreneurs and the most inspiring and innovative women on their journeys to success at the Women In Business Exhibition yesterday! Journaling and visualising their creativity and empowering thoughts for all women from all different cultures and backgrounds.
Our Senior 360 consultant Katie, who has been a part of the recruitment process for the Women in Business event said ‘’I have taken one main vision from yesterday and that is to let go of your mind and let go of your limiting beliefs or doubts you are carrying. Visualizing and declaring what you want and paying it forward. For every entrepreneur, speculation and visualisation must be non-negotiable to create the mindset you need to be empowered by yourself and other women around you’’
