Over the past two months I have been introduced to the world of recruitment whilst temping for DCA in their office in Godalming.
Recruitment was not an area that I was familiar with at all, having recently finished school, and DCA have taught me a lot in a short period of time.
During my time at DCA so far, I have witnessed several successful placements with candidates that I have helped register and have been matched with clients on our books. Day-to-day alongside general administrative tasks, I have enjoyed communicating with candidates and clients and helping them with any queries or putting them in touch with one of our 360° consultants. I have also found reading through candidate CVs and verifying their suitability to the vacancy an interesting task.
DCA Recruitment is unique in the fact that it has a sister, flat fee recruitment, company Job Board Direct and learning about the difference between flat fee recruitment and agency recruitment is something that I have also found particularly interesting.
I am looking forward to what I will learn next as I continue to work in the DCA office!
