I am writing this blog about our senior consultant Amy Rapley who has hit a milestone and I know she will not blow her own trumpet, so I have decided to do it for her. Amy joined DCA Recruitment www.dcass.co.uk back in early 2013 as a trainee. After many weeks of training and learning first-hand about the world of Recruitment Amy started to get a feel for the industry and got immense satisfaction in guiding candidates in the right direction.
Year on year she has progressed as a consultant and after working at DCA a relatively short time we gave Amy the task of launching and managing her own desk as a 360° Senior Consultant. Amy now deals with Permanent / Temporary vacancies and manages the Premium service for our sister company Job Board Direct www.jobboarddirect.co.uk (Flat free advertising) Amy prides herself on talent acquisition by successfully matching candidates to their dream jobs and maintaining her candidate and client relationships. Not only do I see her giving advice on CV’s daily for candidates she always goes that extra mile for people. Recruitment can be a very tough industry to crack and I am sure if you work in Recruitment all of you reading this will relate to those hard days / weeks when everything seems to go wrong – when dealing with people they will let you down, but Amy has always seen the positives in life and this is amazing to see. Many people bail on the industry or fall out of love with it but the rewards are there.
5 - 6 years on, Amy has built up a portfolio of fantastic clients and as a reward been brought a car for her hard work. She can now get to those client meetings in speedy style so if you are looking to recruit any new staff call her on 01483 422212
