It’s important to highlight your transferable skills that will benefit the particular position you are applying for.

2. How do I write a graduate CV? Target your CV to the role you are applying for – Focus your CV on the type of roles you are applying for. Most graduates will have to highlight their transferable skills and achievements rather than actual work experience! It is always important to consider every experience you have – academic, work, voluntary or other interests/projects.
3. Whats a skilled based CV? A skills-based graduate CV is the best layout if you do not have relevant skills or work experience. Choose 4 or 5 transferable skills you have that can benefit the role you are applying for. You have less than 30 seconds to make an impact - The average employer spends less than 30 seconds reading a CV so it’s important to keep you CV to a maximum of 2 pages! Using bullet points is a great way to highlight your key skills and experience!
