An ambitious manufacturing engineering organisation located in Horsham, West Sussex have the opportunity to hire a Production Manager due to new customer opportunities and growth in business.
We specialise in providing engineering services to our customers in various sectors within the manufacturing industry. The company's core competencies are new product introduction, precision engineered parts, sheet metal/fabrication, mechanical and electrical assembly. The competencies are supported by robust production and project management processes.
This is a progressive role, and the job holder will be supported with career progression, (internal and external training will be provided). We are looking for a dynamic leader with an adaptive style of leadership. This person must have the ability to manage people and business processes effectively.
The successful Production Manager will be able to support the management team in taking the business to another level in performance, by working closely with the management team and production engineers. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced/time served Production Manager, however time served in a similar role will be considered (team leader/supervisory role).
The Production Manager must have experience in working with ERP/MRP and business systems, plus MS Office tools, such as Word and Excel at an intermediate/advanced level. This role will be strongly supported by other members of the management team from: Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Sheet Metal/Fabrication, Quality, Finance and HR.

Engineering qualification and background
MRP/ERP experience
Analytical thinking skills
ISO9001/AS9100 experience
Over 5 years experience in managing people
Qualification in Team Leadership
