Maintenance Co-ordinator
Part-time 20 hours per week 9am - 2pm Mon - Thurs
Temp for 6 months with possible view to permanent
£15 per hour
Job Summary:
We are an established Housing Co-operative with 107 permanent units.
We require a Maintenance Co-ordinator, a self-starter ideally with experience of working with small housing organisations to Co-ordinate/administer all repairs and maintenance.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide support and cover to the Co-op worker.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Co-ordinator
Preferred experience of the CHICS system
Authorise and monitor work orders
To inspect void units
Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety and other legislation relevant to the role
Excellent communication and people skills
Good writing skills
Active listening and good attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Reliable and good time keeping
Good team player
Attend 1 monthly evening Committee meeting
Attend quarterly evening General meetings
