Electricity Metering Engineer - Regional

An opportunity for a motivated and accomplished electricity meter engineer to become a part of our team, installing, maintaining and commissioning secondary meters at our customers sites across the UK. You will need a sound electrical metering background with knowledge of CT's and 3 phase supplies to large commercial properties.
Electricity Metering Engineer - Regional - Job Role
To conduct surveys of existing electrical installations to ascertain if secondary metering can be installed.
Carry out new secondary meter installations for both whole current and LV CT metering.
Investigate identify and rectify metering and or meter communication faults.
To commission meters as directed.
Complete and submit (electronically) paperwork for each job.
There may be a requirement to build metering panels on an adhoc basis (training will be provided).
Due to our nationwide customer base, you will need the flexibility to travel and work away on a regular basis.
A reasonable level of physical fitness and manual dexterity is also required to undertake regular manual handling.
You will be audited on a regular basis and be required to maintain issued stock levels of meters and associated equipment and complete stock takes as required.
Electricity Metering Engineer - Regional - Qualifications/Experience:
Candidates should be qualified and experienced electrical meter engineers to at least an LV CT operated meter level.
Company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, ipad, test equipment and PPE will be provided.
A full manual driving licence is essential. You will be subject to criminal record and reference checks.
Representing the Company in a professional manner, we are looking for a self-motivated individual who is equally at home working alone and as part of a team.
