We are The Engineering Development Trust (EDT), an education charity established more than 30 years ago.

We are looking for an Apprenticeship Programme Officer be an integral part of our new Insight into Apprenticeship scheme.
This role involves delivery (face-to-face and virtual),event organisation, student support and administration.
Salary: £24k - £30k, depending on skills and experience.
Contract Type: Fixed term 34 month contract
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Home-working but must be within travelling distance of either the Scottish Highlands or Herefordshire as these are the delivery hubs.
Holiday: 25 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays and additional 'EDT day' (at discretion of CEO)
Pension: Up to 10% employer contribution
Life insurance: 3 times annual salary

Your responsibilities as Apprenticeship Programmes Officer will include:

Deliver programmes and events to a high standard, both virtually and in-person.
Responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the activities and events.
Recruit and build strong relationships with schools and volunteers.
Contribute to the development of inspirational, hands-on, virtual or face-to-face activities for young people.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with teachers and industry mentors.
Use our CRM system to manage delivery, report and track progress, ensuring that all relevant data is reviewed, managed and kept up to date.
Be the face of EDT- take a 'Front of house' role at face-to-face and virtual events.
Liaise with venues to ensure all programme requirements are met.
Coordinate student and school communications.
Manage online learning resources for virtual aspects of the programme and monitor and assess student progress.

Dynamic and engaging presentation skills with the confidence to deliver activities to large groups
A team worker who can liaise and collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders
Organised- can manage workload and deadlines and demonstrate effective time management
Attention to detail and good IT skills (databases, CRM, excel)
A positive and resilient attitude
Experience in the third sector and/or youth sector is desirable
Enhanced DBS/PVG check and clean driving licence required.
